History

District One was founded in 2016. We set out providing talent acquisition services to businesses in need of acquiring skilled and qualified team members. We primarily work for companies within the construction, transportation, facilities maintenance and professional support industries. Our aim was and is to add value to our local businesses, neighboring communities, and our general economy.

Along our journey we discovered that a lot of businesses had suffered due to a lack of management, which leads to a buildup of issues and in most cases scope creep. Creep occurs when an organization doesn’t understand or manage the requirements of their contractual agreements with their customers.
We quickly realized that not only did small businesses need technical assistance but so did mid-level and large organizations (albeit the needs and level of efforts are often different). We enhance productivity and assist in eliminating arbitrary processes.
